Some pieces are solid 14k gold, and some are 14k gold filled.
If it is gold-filled, it will say filled. If it is solid gold, it will NOT say filled. 

Sterling silver and 14k gold mixed together to create 14k gold filled.

The gold-filled pieces will last and look great for a lifetime! Waterproof! Never have to take it off! And of course the sold gold pieces will last a lifetime as well!
