This adjustable ring, made by Navajo artist Kevin Billah, features two trapezoid cut Spiny Oyster Shells set in a sawtooth bezel with ornate oxidized sterling silver detailing. It can be sized from a size 8.0 to a 13.0.
According to research, spiny oysters are found buried at deep depths or attached to rocky reefs. The deeper they dig, the darker the pigment of the oyster shell which is how the colors range from a bright orange to a deep purple.
