The Royston Turquoise Mine is located within the Royston District located approximately 20 miles northeast of Tonepah, Nevada. Active mining of Turquoise began in the Royston District about 1904.

Red coral is mostly found in the Mediterranean ocean. The harvesting of coral is currently restricted and cost prohibitive due to environmental considerations so all jewelry is made from personal stores.
